IOSH Training Courses

We offer both IOSH Managing safely and IOSH Working Safely Training Courses at very £competitve rates- from £450 per person

Who is Managing safely for?

Managing safely is for managers and

supervisors in any sector, and any

organisation. It’s designed to get

managers up-to-speed on the practical

actions they need to take to handle

safety and health in their teams.

What will they get out of it?

Delegates will learn what they need to

know – and are perhaps reluctant to learn

about – in a refreshingly informal way.

What will employers get out of it?

- nationally-recognised and respected

certificated training for their

managers and supervisors

- peace of mind offered by training

that’s designed and quality-assured

by the Chartered body for safety and

health professionals

- flexibility – the programme can be

delivered in time-slots that suit the

business

- two key areas – safety and health

and environmental basics – are

covered in a single programme

Who should go on Working safely?

Working safely is for people at any level,

in any sector, needing a grounding in the

essentials of safety and health. Everyone

at work should have an understanding

of why they must ‘work safely’ – and this

course offers exactly that.

What will they get out of it?

What they need to know – and are

perhaps reluctant to learn about – in a

refreshingly informal way.

Working safely focuses on why safety and health is

important, and how individuals can

make a real difference to the wellbeing

of themselves and others through

changing their behaviour.

What will their employer get out of it?

- nationally recognised and respected

certificated training for their teams

- training recognised by CSCS as an

equivalent to a level 1 Award in

safety and health in a construction

environment

- peace of mind offered by training

that’s designed and quality-controlled

by the Chartered body for safety and

health professionals

- minimum disruption to working days

and shifts – the one-day programme

includes the assessment, so there’s no

need to free up further time for a test

after the course

- Working safely meets the

government’s guidelines for

introductory safety and health training

and is a 100 per cent match to

the Health and Safety Executive’s

‘passport’ syllabus

- two key areas – safety and health and

environmental basics – are covered in

a single self-contained session
